Interclub visit with Canberra Lake Tuggeranong Lions Club on 25th August 2004 by Videoconference link ( a virtual visit) - Claiming an Australian first,
but is this also a Lions Clubs International first?
    Activities :
BBQs'for various causes in December2004 and January2005 including "turning on of the christmas lights in CBD of Armidale. Assist with catering for "Relay for Life" each October.
BBQ Food Stall at annual Wool Expo which is held early in May at the creeklands in the Centre of Armidale.
The Australian Yard Dog and Sheep Dog championships are held in association with Wool Expo, and it is a premier event in Australia for the wool industry.
(Some of our members are wool growers)

Various other BBQ's as required (e.g. Armidale Little Athletics carnival where we served up 900 egg and bacon rolls along with the usual steak and sausage rolls cooked on our BBQ over two days.

Weekly Meat raffles each Friday evening at a local hotel which are becoming a very enjoyable social evening!!!!
